The 10” Half-Round Aluminum File is a 10 inch half-rounded metal file tool that reduces clogging when used on soft metals. This file features both a flat face and a rounded face, both of which have a double cut. Double Cut means that this file has two sets of opposing diagonal teeth that are cut on top of one another. Heavy pressure applied with this double cut pattern allows for ample material removal. Rapid removal of material is also achieved through this metal file’s coarse, heavy weight teeth. Since this metal tool file has both a rounded and a flat face, it can be used on convex, concave, and flat surfaces. Commonly it is used to remove material from inside of cylindrical pieces or to create rounded grooves. The unique tooth design eliminates clogging when working on commonly used soft metals, such as Aluminum. 

* For safety reasons, a file should never be used without a handle. Clean with a wire file cleaner if it gets clogged.
