Do not let the 1/2" inch blade width fool you, each air sawzall blade boasts premium bi-metal construction. Bi Metal construction means that these reciprocating blades have a carbon-steel shaft with cobalt-steel alloy teeth, creating extremely long-lasting blades that are heat and wear resistant. The ½” width also allows for precision work in hard to reach places such as between body panels or under stripped and rusted fasteners, which is why they are particularly popular in the automotive body modification (including muffler repair and replacement) and sheet metal fabrication industries. Additionally, this half inch wide body provides blade a level of flexibility allowing for radius cuts further supplanting the Morse Air Saw reciprocating saw blade as a staple when working with sheet metal. This mini reciprocating blade is perfect for cutting thin metal and has a universal attachment for all standard pneumatic Sawzall’s.

The 3” x 1/2” x .025” Air Saw Reciprocating Saw Blade with 24 TPI is 3 inches long, 1/2” wide, .025” thick and has 24 Teeth Per Inch. This combination of specifications provides the following advantages: 3” inch blades are shorter than almost all other reciprocating blades. This short length allows for maximum control in confined spaces. 3” inch long recip blades are the perfect size for cutting work pieces that have a width of an inch or less (Your blade length should be 2" - 3" longer than the width of the material you are cutting to prevent slipping. Additionally, your blade should not be so much longer than your material or else wobbling and vibration can occur.). The 1/2” width beam provides flex and maneuverability when needed. The .025” thickness is considered “thin” further allowing flex required for radial cuts. Saw saw blades with .025” thickness cut faster than .035” blades and leaves as small of a kerf on your work piece as possible.
