3.5” x 4” Aluminum Oxide Sanding Band for 3.5" x 4" Rubber Expanding Drum by Black Hawk Abrasives are designed to be used with BHA rubber expanding drums. These 3.5 inch sanding drums easily allow you to switch to a variety of grits and materials as the needs of a job change. The 3-1/2 inch diameter belt is manufactured with premium aluminum oxide grains adhered to sturdy and durable x weight backing. Each sanding belt is closed coated, meaning 100% of the sanding surface is covered in abrasive grains, and the can be used bi-directionally. These sanding bands are able to slip on and off the rubber expanding drum when not in use, then when the machine spins the drum the expanding drum design allows the drum to inflate and hold the belt tight. The sanding bands offer quick change versatility, easy portability, and a 4 inch wide sanding area which provides a great sanding surface area.
With it’s easy slip-on, slip-off usability and BHA’s wide range of grits, these AOX 4 inch sanding belts are perfect for a wide array of applications, including but, not limited to: paint and rust removal, wood sanding (including tables, decks, cabinetry ect.), metal preparation prior to buffing. These sanding bands feature a 3.5 inch diameter and a 4 inch width and are made to be used on 3.5 inch x 4 inch rubber expanding drums that are affixed to surface finishing machines and linear grinding machines (A.K.A. Burnishers, burnishing machines, contouring grinders, etc.). They are available in 60, 80, 120, 180, 240, 320 and 400 grit. MADE IN USA.
