8” x 3" x 5/8" Orange Airway Buffing Wheel

8” Orange Airway Buff with 3” Center Plate and 5/8” Arbor Hole is your go to for first cut when starting the polishing process. These orange buffs are made up of 16 discs of cotton (16 ply) for longer life. The flaps are then mill treated for increased firmness, allowing the buffs to cut and color aggressively.  The orange airway buff is affixed from the center of the disc with a steel plate. This steel plate holds firm during use and also creates pleats in the buff which allow for the passage of air during buffing. The pleats allow the buff to operate at a cooler temperature protecting both the work piece and the buff itself (extending its useful life). For optimal results with the airway buffs, pair them with black magic compound or Tripoli compound. These airway buffs are designed to be attached to a polisher or buffer that receives a 5/8” arbor hole.
