What are Abrasive Chop Saw Blades?

These are powerful cutting wheels designed to work with portable gas saws or stationary chop saws.  They are an alternative to cut off wheels for angle grinders and an economical alternative to diamond blades.

Chop saw cut-off wheels are most often used for heavy-duty cutting of metals in industries like plumbing, construction, shipbuilding, welding, and metalworking.

What are Abrasive Chop Saw Blades Made of?

These cutting wheels are made of premium aluminum oxide grains embedded together with an extra-strength phenolic resin bond.   This resin bond makes the disc stronger and more stable under severe conditions for aggressive cutting. 

The wheels are also double external reinforced with high tensile strength fiberglass.  This allows safe cutting at high speeds while avoiding excessive vibrations or burrs.
